The International Society for Aerosols in Medicine (ISAM) was founded in 1970. The objectives of ISAM are to stimulate and further the interdisciplinary cooperation and exchange of information in all aspects of aerosol research in medicine including health effects of inhaled aerosols and pulmonary drug delivery.

Santa Fe’s climate is dry with very little humidity and since it’s altitude is 7,260 feet the weather is mild in June. The temperature during the day is an average of 83oF and cooling off in the evening to an average 49oF.  Santa Fe, as well as the surrounding area boasts of 320 days of bright sunshine and very little rain.
